LDII Riau Inaugurates New Leadership of Siak Regency for 2025–2030 Term

 


JENAWI | Siak – As reported on the official LDII Riau website, the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the Indonesian Islamic Da’wah Institute (LDII) for Riau Province, Dr. Imam Suprayogi, S.T., M.T., officially inaugurated and appointed the new board of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) LDII Siak Regency for the 2025–2030 term. The solemn inauguration ceremony took place at the Mahratu Building, in front of the Siak Palace, on Wednesday (September 24, 2025), attended by more than 350 participants from LDII branches (PC and PAC) across Siak Regency.

The presence of prominent figures added significant meaning to the event, including Member of the Riau Provincial DPRD Commission IV, H. Muhtarom, S.Ag.; Expert Staff of the Siak Regent, drh. Hj. Susilawati, M.M.; Head of Siak National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol), H. Syamsurizal, S.E., M.Si.; Commander of Infantry Battalion 851/TP, Major Inf. Lalu Pardede; Head of Community Development Unit of Siak Police, AKP Jefri Antonius Purba, S.H.; Chairman of the Siak Regency MUI, KH Ahmad Muhaimin, S.Ag.; and Siak Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Community Guidance Officer, Harman, S.Ag.

In his remarks, the Chairman of DPW LDII Riau emphasized the importance of organizational synergy with local government in facing contemporary challenges.

“LDII has eight programs of service to the nation, covering nationalism, religion, education, economy, health, energy, food security, and environment. These programs must be realized by the new leadership to bring real benefits to the people of Siak,” Imam stated.

He further added that the regeneration of leadership, largely dominated by young people, marks an important momentum for LDII to become more adaptive and progressive.

“The presence of young leaders in this board is a new energy. We hope they can contribute to regional development, build communication with all stakeholders, and become strategic partners of the government,” Imam affirmed.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Chairman of DPD LDII Siak, Abdul Rohman Wali, M.Si., expressed gratitude and his commitment to continue the legacy of the previous leadership.

“We are ready to collaborate with all elements, both government and society. LDII will continue to support regional programs, especially in education, economy, food security, and youth development. God willing, LDII’s eight programs of service will be implemented with the spirit of togetherness,” said Wali.

The inauguration ceremony concluded with a joint prayer, serving as a strategic moment for LDII Siak to strengthen its tangible contribution to regional development and reinforce national unity.
