JENAWI | SIAK - The Green Policing Award 2025 assessment team conducted a review of the Green Policing program within the jurisdiction of Siak Police on Monday (September 22, 2025).
The assessment was led by AKBP Razif, S.H., Head of the Bhabinkamtibmas Sub-Directorate at the Riau Police Community Development Directorate, who served as Chief Assessor representing the Director of Community Development, Kombes Pol Eko Budhi Purwono, S.I.K. He was accompanied by members of the assessment team from Riau Police’s Inspectorate, Community Development, Human Resources, Professional Standards, and Public Relations divisions.
Present at the event were Deputy Police Chief of Siak, Kompol Akira Ceria, S.I.K., M.M., Head of Community Development Unit AKP Jefri Antonius Purba, S.H., along with 10 representatives of Siak Police’s Bhabinkamtibmas officers participating in the Green Policing Award 2025, namely:
* Bripka Rosady Elian (Minas Police Sector)
* Bripka Janseng Manurung (Kandis Police Sector)
* Bripka Jumi Pardamaian Sihombing (Tualang Police Sector)
* Bripka M. Kurniawan (Siak Police Sector)
* Aipda Teguh Suseno (Bungaraya Police Sector)
* Brigadir Cevi Budiawan, S.H. (Kerinci Kanan Police Sector)
* Aiptu Medi Hartono Lubis (Lubuk Dalam Police Sector)
* Bripka Rinaldo (Sabak Auh Police Sector)
* Bripka Bambang Setiawan (Sungai Mandau Police Sector)
* Aipda Tubagus, S.H. (Koto Gasib Police Sector).
In his remarks, AKBP Razif expressed appreciation for Siak Police’s commitment in implementing the Green Policing program.
“We hope that one of the Bhabinkamtibmas officers from Siak Police can represent at the Green Policing Award, as a form of recognition for the hard work that has been carried out,” said AKBP Razif.
He emphasized that Green Policing should not stop at assessments or awards, but must become a consistently practiced culture.
“This program is not just about planting trees, but about building a culture of environmental sustainability. The role of Bhabinkamtibmas is to educate the community on the importance of preventing land burning, nurturing the plants that have been planted, and promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles,” AKBP Razif asserted.
The visit of the assessment team also served as a moral boost for Siak Police to continue developing environmental-based innovations, in line with the National Police’s vision of being a protector, guardian, and public servant that cares for ecosystem sustainability.
